I live in B.C. and i know this is the same all across canada but we learn french at school. This is counted as an academic course and gets counted in our grade average. if you are not good in french well you can say bye to your good marks for places like university. i also go to a private school so it makes things worse. The only french province who doesnt even have english as one of there official languages (quebec removed english using the notwithstanding clause out of their province less then 20 years back) also wants to seperate from canada. i think we should say bye to them and live with only english because it makes everyones life much more easy. I know jobs like two languages but it should be our choice and also if we have a background of a different culture then there shouldn't be a problem or should there
what you guys think?
im not going against french people i respect there culture im just saying french is hard to learn :) like english is to you
