With only 15 days to go to usher into the new year, I find myself stumped with so many tasks! I have made one list, a real big one and working on it very hard.
So guys, have you got many tasks to complete before 1st Jan 2009?
What is in your TO DO LIST?
Merry Christmas to all of you and your family.

My 'To do list' do not ends anywhere. If I finish one task, other new task crops in and cycle goes on, without every ending. I make a note of tasks to be attended either in my mobile or in my digital diary and quite often refer to it check, which tasks are left unattended.
Many thanks for your wishes on the occasion of ensuing Christmas!!
As we all living in a cosmoplitan age and cities and everybody, irrespective of his/her religion, celebrates every festival, be it Diwali, Eid or Christmas. So merry Christmas to you too! Hope you would enjoy it on 25th.
It is great fun to enjoy cakes and other goodies on the festival of Christmas. One of my colleagues is Christain, she makes it a point to bring delicious cake on this occasion and we all relish it in the office.

Oh, grrrrl, do not get me started on how far behind I am in filing. Well I spent almost a whole day looking for some new software to help me out, and finally did find something suitable yesterday. Now I have more to do, as I must learn this software and then do my work.

It is pretty nice software, and has a free version, too. For me there is a learning curve in using it the way I want it to perform, but we are getting there. I started to name it here, then realized I have a referral link, so I'll PM you that one. :-)

Hi Mimpi and Cupid
I cannot think of taking 13 days holiday at a stretch. Am already back in office after four days leave as I had to be present today. May take a few more days leave during Christmas if possible.
Thanks to both of you for your wishes and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too.

Well, Christmas is one big task for me to cross off my list and that will be done before 2009. I have a lot of things I want to get done too, but I don't have a ton of stuff that has to be done by the first. But it would be nice to have it together, like my tax stuff. Good luck getting everything done that you want to.

Tax stuff??? When do the taxes have to be filed by in the States? I live in Canada and we have until April 30th. WE usually do ours early.. but most employers don't send out T4s until feburary at the earliest.

Good to know that you haven't got much stuff to do. Tax stuff is one heck of a task though. Wish you good luck.

Our taxes are due April 15, employers have until the end of Jan. to get paperwork out. I have to organize my paperwork for my business. Unfortunately, I do have a lot on my list to do which is why I haven't been on here much.

since i'm in sales my task is to reach my quota for the month of december and the most important of all to achieve the year to date quota. though i'm close to reaching those quota i'm still having a hard time because i'm not really sure if some of the clients would be willing to cachout when it's already the end of the year. i understand that many of the companies are doing their year end report so as much as possible they don't want to transact during the last 2 weeks of the end of the year.

Come to think of it, Not a real long one. There are things to be done but not so pressing on the homefront. I know that there are some issues and deadlines in terms of having some office shifting to be done and some other things at work.
It's nice to complete the pending tasks and have a clean slate while starting the new year and I used to do that a lot, never complete it and hardly get to enjoy the season. While completing the tasks at work is on top of the list and with a few personal things like my passport and things like that to handle my biggest task if i may call it that is to get the best out of all the leave i've accumulated and enjoy myself. It's a new and sure to be tough year ahead considering all these economic downturns, so l've decided to lighten up and gear up to face the challenges of the New Year.

Passport should be priority on your list, Alok and i a sure other smaller ones you will manage way before the Christmas. I have a long list to accomplish. Like some office pending stuffs which I never really finish off, then some PR jobs to be done, buying greetings and stuffs like that, then buying some things for my parents, fixing some gadgets....
Lastly, I could think of pampering myself with a lot of good things and awaiting someone's arrival here in my city. The list kind of never ends. I would be happy if I could do all and enjoy the eve to the full. Nothing like NOT having to catch up with things.

Hi,
Well my each day is quite a task in its own way. I dont have any such task remaining to do before 1st of Jan. In my kind of work ( construction ) one cant really sit down and note the tasks. I got to finish whatever is coming my way.
Though iam really planning something big for this 31st . That is the only task i can think about as of now .
I wish everyone a very prosperous and peaceful 2009.
Cheers,
Tutul

Overhaul my room completely.LOL! I meant I need to clean it from top to bottom and reach every nook and cranny that I can get to. Arrange my things as well in preparation for the activities next year. Finish the vacation homework our professors gave us and thats including making a simple website for a report and memorizing some dialogues for a class play.
Lets see...Im thinking of having my hair straightened as a symbolism of starting the new year without any kinks and also get a haircut but Im not yet sure..hehehe
Of course greet the people that I care about Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I think thats about it.^_^
Merry Christmas and a Happy New YEar to you!

That's quite a task, I have to do my as well. I love it when its done and clean. It takes time but nothing like the feel of a smiling home isn't it!
You know what, it's quite a coincidence becuase I have been thinking of straightening my hair as well. Even though my hair is pretty straight I like the the glossy straight feel of it. And if you go for it, dosend me your snap. Will wait for that...

I have to finish a website that I have undertaken for development. I was supposed to finish it a month ago, but due to some inevitable circumstances could not finish it. Not the party has asked me to finish it by the end of this year. So, my work it my priority.

I'll start on my list tomorrow. I haven't done this ever before so this is actually quite refreshing compared to the usual resolution stuff. So I will try to make a list tomorrow and hopefully get to share it with you by then. I hope you get to finish them all and if NOT, I wish you stick to those that need to be done and not feel guilty or bad about leaving some items out. Merry Christmas to you too, my darling Mou!

Most of the tasks are pending because of procrastination. These are but small small petty things but must be done to get my spirit a boost. I am very critical of myself and I have to have things perfectly done. I will manage I am sure. the list includes petty things like buying my mom socks to call the telecaller to get my father's glucometer fixed to buying myself a gift.
Will wait for your list, hon.

Oh Dear! You have reminded me of an important thing that I need to do before January .I still have a Dmat account of mine with my former broker in Tamil Nadu and I need to transfer soem shares to my presemt account here because there is a need for this before January. This is on my priority list. After that , I have some long pending jobs .Let me see if I can complete them one by one.
I may be getting guests too in the meanwhile though just for the odd meal or two.It would involve some preparation and planning.
I have some pending letters to write .

Hello mimpi. Well, tomorrow is Saturday and I will have an important exam tomorrow afternoon. If I can get good grades, then I will have finished doing the great job or task that I have been looking forward to before the end of 2008. I wish myself lucky to get good grades. Good luck to me, mimpi. Good luck to you as well.

My to do list is still pretty long. I was planning on buying the last presents today, but I got ill, so I had to postpone it to tomorrow. Tomorrow is the very last chance to buy presents, so I have to get it done. I just hope there is enough time, because in afternoon I am going to my grandmother's birthdayparty. I also need to write a few more christmascards and christmasletters. I have to send a letter to my friend from Italy and a letter to my friend from India. Then I have to tidy up the place to get everything ready for New Year's Eve.
