For me, there's nothing like curling up with a good book. It is tough to read a whole book just sitting in front of the computer and the light from the PC usually tires me out very soon. But if it is some stuff I need to know right away, I prefer the internet. Whatever I want is right there at the touch of a button and I can read what different sites have to say about the same thing. So, if it is for research, then internet is wonderful. If it is to read a specific book, the library is best.

It is very easy to find information on the internet, and if I have a quick question I usually look it up on the internet. If I need to do some reseach for a project I often use a combination of books and the internet. I like library books better than ebooks, but sometimes I use the internet instead, it depends which kind of infornmation I am looking for.

It depends what I am looking for and how urgently I need it.
I much prefer to read in a book, but I don't have easy access to a library, and I do have a computer at work and at home. So usually the pc wins and I do my research on line. Often it is so much quicker to have answers at your finger tips.

Books and information in the internet ARE the same books of library, only in electronic format and electronic database!
Besides, I somehow prefer to read e-Books and .pdf files more then paper books. And I like to put marks in the text that I have read, and every time when I do it in the paper-book: I feel guilty.
So in electronic book it is a normal and fine thing to do, and more comfortable and easy to use. And I can use copy-paste, and then PRINT the summary of quotes that I found to be important ones. No more handwritings or retyping the text in the computer!
