I never switch of my cellphone in the night. I used to do it but some experience of close friends trying to reach me and not being able to when one of them had an accident in the middle of the night made me feel terrible over the whole thing. On another occassion some of of my colleagues were able to reach me during some heavy rains, by which i was able to rush and prevent a whole lot of damage being done to some of our office equipment. So now it's always on.

I never switch my mobile off. Sometimes, when I have ran out of charge and need to charge the battery, I switch it off. I mean, its already being off without the charge! lol...
I keep my mobile on silent mode. That saves me from the night time hazards.

Hi Kunking,
I never turn off my cell phone, i always keep it on just in case of emergency , because i live far away from my family and i want them to get hold of me when ever they want, it is not a problem for me to go back to sleep, which i am really good at :) Have a good day!!!

Hi there! I leave my mobile phone on, most of the time, except when the battery ran out and I have no chance to charge it, lol. People that knows me doesn't call me on odd times and the only chance I get phone calls when I'm asleep is if the call is important or emergency, which happen once. I do get few wrong number calls late at night, but thats very rare.

NO I do not. I use my cellphone as an alarm clock so this would not work for me. I also charge me cellphone at night time... I guess I could turn it off to do that though.

I never turn my cell phone off.
Even if its midnight, im ready to recieve calls. My friends are kindof strange, they call or send important messages or sometimes even stupid messages in the middle of the night.
Im used to it, so it doesnt disturb me much.
On weekends however, i usually depend on one of them to call me and wake me up. lol.

well i would keep it on. as someone wants to call us urgently will be able to do so if the occasion demands.
but remember to keep the cell phone away from your body when you sleep. also don't have the cell phone connected to charger & be placed closely when at sleep. these could have very dangerous effects.

hi there! ^__^ I don't shut down my cellphone at night. I just put it in silent mode so that I will not be disturbed but if I'm expecting a message of call from someone, I will choose the vibration mode so that other people will not be disturbed from the sound of my phone beeping. Haha. And I need my cellphone as an extra alarm because one alarm clock is not enough to awake me, in that case shutting down cellphone is not the thing for me. Haha

I am no more in office, so few contacts for business. My friends have my home number, so usually when coming back I would turn off my mobile, and at night, i will leave my phone connected to plug for charging.
It is true there are complaint from friends, if they do not happen to take my home number. I appreciate most of my friends accessable by mobile. Maybe I need to change my habit as sign of mutual respect.

The only time my Cell Phone is ever turned off is when it is charging. If I am somewhere where I do not want to be disturbed because of it, I will turn it to silent or something instead. I never know when an Emergency situation might happen and someone is needing to get to me... so I leave my phone on all of the time.

I won't shut down my cellphone at night even if I am sleeping. That is because I regard my cellphone as an alarm clock. I set it alarm at three different time in the morning so that I must wake up at last. If I shut down my cellphone, then it won't turn it on and alarm next morning. I think this is the disadvantage of the smartphone.

I turn mine down so I am not awake, though if I turn it off, I cannot see who called and didnt bother to leave a message, which happens a lot.

I am one of those people who just cannot live without their phone and it is on at all times. Because if someone tries to call me in the middle of the night because something happened to one of my friends or family members than they could reach me. I mean what if it was an emergency and no one could get a hold of you. The only power you are saving is on the phone, you are not wasting energy when you leave it on, unless you keep it plugged in at all times. Which would just not be smart anyways. But my answer is my cell phone stays on at all times because I don't want something to happen and no one beable to get ahold of me. Plus I don't mind being woke up by the phone.
