What does a Blind Person Dream?

My niece has been blind since birth and is ten next month. I asked her your question and she said that she dreams of sounds, vibrations and impressions of what in her mind something would look like. She said she had a dream she was in her front yard looking at the sky as snowflakes were coming down and it was all sounds like birds chirping, the wind was lightly blowing and the snow was coming down like little pieces of ice. Sensations like cold to her are blue to us. Something soft is like white cotton, hot is like heat from a stove. She doesn't dream in colors like a sighted person but in sensations, sounds and imagination.

The dream have no walls, this is open to every one.. and not only the human beings, the dream is for every one in the world, it may be even for animals, have the dreams. And more over as a human being, we may dream upto the level what we know, and what we saw somewhere in the Televisions, magazines or internet and heard by other people those who saw some of the places, like nayagara falls etc.. or some of the celebreties like hollywood/bollywood people.. Infact, in the current days, they come to work in the call centres, as equal to the ordinary people like us.. they have more competitions for us.. We cannot underestimate them.. They also study well and better then us.. as i said, they dont have any diversion like us..so, they can very well concerntrate more on their studies and their works.. and do it better than us.. (the ordinary people) But as for as the blind is concern, they can hear only the sound which has been raised by others, and they can feel everyone by touch.. and hear from someone.. and also they have more grasping power than the people like us.. the normal people.. because we have more other divertions, but they doesn't have any diversions, they have only the concentrations of the think which has been teach to them.. So, they can dream based on the informations which they hear from others, and based on the sound they hear, and based on the feelings what they feel by touch somethings and more over they can feel the climates also the chillness and the hotness Based on these, they can dream.. i think they do.. i mean dreams are when our brains work out stress so i would think their brains would stress and use dreams as a release too.. although their dreams may be in sounds and sensations instead of colors etc

awesome question ... who knows what they dream. If they were blind from birth, they probably only have audio dreams since their brain doesn't have any stored images to recall.
