at least that is the email I got today. So, how many people will now have their voice mails turned off so they aren't charged? or bothered? Think it'll effect the phone companies bottom lines? I do.

Hello aero, Here in the Philippines, getting a celphone number is easy. For example, you have a credit card and you indicated your number there. You will be surprised that another credit card company will call you on your number just to ask if you are interested in getting a card. Anyway, some celphones have a feature wherein you can block a number. Maybe I will just use it just in case there will be a caller who I don't want to talk to.

It will be bothering to know that my cellphone numbers are know publicly. I will definitely change my number to prevent any further problems occurred. I think the phone companies will benefit from that..

I don't know exactly what's going to happen, but I think people are going to find something to do in order to "fix" this themselves... by doing things like what you just mentioned. Good Luck
