What Could Have Been The Cause Of MyLot Slowness?

MyLot used to be very fast while loading but these days after they revamp the site it used to load slowly.
What could have been the cause and how it be remedied?
Myself, I guess the problem might be one of the following:
1. hosting
2. much adverts
3. Server
4. Much Users.
