a mylot chat room...do we need it???

I have made many friends here in the almost two years since I joined but I do not feel a chat room is needed. We communicate through private messages to start with then we exchange IM addresses and eventually even end up on the phone. Even though I am a long waty from some of them I am very close, just as friends should be and I feel a chat room would be of no use at all. I do not use Skype because it slows down my computer but when I had it I can remember having conversations with up to five people simultaneously so that could be useful too.
