on gals and guys

I have good friends who are girls and there are boys who are my friends too. I have come across very good soul in the girls and also in the boys. Still there remains very much differences. It is said that girls are physically weak. This is generally true. Then I must state that I have marked many boys who are really weak in physique and in that list my name should be written at the top. Again in respect of intellectual abilities I have to write that there were at least two girls in my class who had the sole right to receive all the awards from the hand of the principal in every year. Still the boys in common hold an idea that gals are weaker despite the gals have proved the hypothesis as incorrect. Will you please tell me if there is any element of truth in such conception of such boys?
