What happened on December 11 2008 Ugly Betty Episode?

I tape Ugly Betty on time-shift on Thursdays because I have so many shows to tape, and my machine will only tape two at once. For some reason the time-shift episode was a re-run (the first episode) while the prime-time airing was a new episode. Usually they are the same. My question is... What happened on Ugly Betty last Thursday???? Argh!! I love this show and can't believe I missed the newest episode!!!
