Shoes?Insults

I saw that. I thought that was terrible. Not just because he is our President, but because I feel that is degrading to do something like that. No matter who it is but for a President of any country, it's just plain wrong in my opinion.

That was one of the most blatant acts of hatred directed towards our President and a message of hate to our country.. I don't think that it was right even though I don't always agree with Bush nor did I vote for him, it just wasn't right.. This is not the acceptable behavior that is supposed to be happening in our world, all this showed was that it is ok to hate and hurt Americans.. I believe maybe all of our boys need to come home where they belong and let the other countries take care of themselves.. Then maybe we can take care of ourselves a bit better, keep our boys and our money in the good old USA..

I think the guy was ignorant! He had that planned because they said it was an extra pair of shoes. And he didn't stop to think it's a crime over there to throw shoes at dignitaries. So now he'll be spending time in prison where he is now. Doesn't matter that he's from another country; he should have known better! I don't care how much you disagree with anyone, it's a childish act to do something like that.

Hey cheeve~I really didn't have much of a reaction. My boyfriend thought it was hilarious! He was laughing so hard I thought he was watching something really funny on tv. When I went into the room later on to ask him what was so funny, because I knew he was watching football all night he told me that he was watching the news and then he started to laugh again and then told me it was about the President and the shoes! Them my girlfriend left me a message and she was hysterical too! It just didn't strike me that funny! Honestly, I don't like him, never did and I just didn't care! If the shoes had hit him that would have been funny!

Honestly, I had to laugh. The secret service did take a bit too long to react but they were probably in shock. He's lucky it wasn't something worse then shoes, with how slow they were.
