I use texting usually than calling. It is more cheaper, less expensive and saves money. Calling is expensive and lets you pay lots of money. Here in the philippines, there is a text only prepaid service that lets you txt unlimited for 2 days with a very less affordable payment price.

I used both of them equally. I get a lot of phone calls and I get a lot of text messages.

I seldom call through the cellphone because it's too expensive. I use the text more often but not too often. My load sometimes just expires without me using it because I don't always text. I use only my cellphone to txt important messages and answer messages from other people.

I have unlimited plan for both calling & text messaging so it doesn't make a difference in cost for me... But I'd much rather call than text... For short messages it's ok, like "hey, we're out of milk. Could you pick one up on your way home?" type of thing... Unfortunately, because of my work, I have blackberry phone & I receive a lot of text messages & emails on it...

I usually call more than text. My eyes are bad I can't see my keypad that well. I have no patience on texting. I actually don't like cellphones cause it oblige you to answer it eventhough it's not an emergency. Life was so much peaceful years ago when cellphones are not yet a hot possession.

I usually text more than call because I can't really just sit on my phone and talk for a while. I'm moving around a lot and doing other things so texting is easier for me because I can do that while doing the other things. I have unlimited texting everday here in the US. I didn't know that in the Philippines that there were prepaid services for only 2 days, that doesn't seem like much at all.
