The tons hit two of the England players suddenly makes me under estimate the Team India. But under Dhoni's captaincy and Sehwag's Tremendous opening make the thing in to reality. Sachin and Yuvaraj gather their form back while Dravid disappoints again. Totally India crushed England by Six wickets.
I like the way Indians played the match Sehwag in particular - boosts rest of the team.
This win gives a chance to India to keep its second place in ICC Test ratings.

Frankly at the end of second days play i thought there is no way now that India can avoid a defeat. Also when India started their second innings there was very little hope or to be more precise no hope of an Indian victory. But the way Sehwag played raised hopes of Indian victory all of a sudden and within a couple of hours the whole complexion of the match changed. On the final day Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh led India to a historic win.It was out of the world and an unexpected one till the last day for me.Happy myLotting.

well i did expect a good and tight match between the two teams as it is very much known that england is a very good side when it comes to test matches and so they proved . but then i think we won the whole match in the 4th day in the last and second last session. first was the slow run scoring by england which resulted in a lead less than 400 which could have been safer. and then the miracle performance by shewag. the way he played, i think he could have scored a double. but then with such speed when you score, you are always in the risk of getting out.

Yes I did expect India to win the first test match as the team has been doing well and most of its players are in good form.
However, I did not expect the English team to put such a nice performance. They made India work hard for their victory. As rightly stated by Ravi Shashtri, the English team dominated 70% of the first test match. Hats of to the performances of Sehwag, Sachin and Yuvraj..... Equal credit should be given to English team for putting such a brave fight. I think that Indian team has proved itself better to win the game.
