I think "forgive and forget"is the best policy.
You can't expect everyone behave the way you want.
So sometimes you get offended by somebody's action.
Is it not better to forgive them and forget the incidents?
If you are thinking of taking revenge,it will be a chain action, and you will lose
your friends and more importantly your HAPPINESS AND PEACE OF MIND.

I toally agree with you .There is a good saying "Don't use other's mistake to punish yourself " .so when someone behave the way you don't want ,you should pay no mind to them and forgive them .Don't be angry and crazy!Forgive and Forget is the best way to cure youself

I never expect people to act the way I want.
Asking for a forgiveness comes only after something bad is being made or said. When BOTH people understand that something went totally wrong.
I prefer NOT TO FORGET. Maybe to forgive, but not to forget.
Should we FORGIVE the genocides and FORGET them? The same stands for a betrayal, abuses, beating a wife, cheating a husband, and all the rest dirty and ugly things that a person can possible do to other person.

I agree it depends on what act was done KWIM?
Was it something simply as not returning phone calls? Borrowing money? those are lil things one can forgive.
Or was it something criminal? Heartless? with intent to hurt you physically? Then probably may be considered unforgiveable.
