What have you found to be the best place to write articles online? I like AC as there seems to be a very wide selection of things to write about but they do take a long time to publish, triond doent take so long but it seems to be a little more limited. Also where apart from ehow is the best place to earn from writing how to articles?

I'm writing for Associated Content and have two blogs on today.com. I'll probably drop one of them because I'm trying to focus on higher paid writing. I submitted one article to DailyArticle, but it still hasn't appeared on the site, and it's a Christmas article. If it doesn't appear tomorow, I'll pull it and save it for next yeard. I chose DailyArticle because you can set your own price, and they're not as strict about grammar and punctuation as Constant Content. I know I write well, but I'm not sure I could pass CC's strict standards. But if DailyArticle doesn't work out after a few submissions, I'll try CC.
The only how-to site I've ever written for is eHow and that was so boring, I quit after a couple of months. I know it pays well, but if you can't stand to write the stuff, it's not worth it. Hope you find some other how-to sites if that's something you enjoy doing.

I don't qualify for eHow or for AC upfront payments, as I'm not in the USA.
I have been most successful at Helium, because I have rating stars that allow me to earn a daily revenue share from page views, and my writing stars qualify me for upfront payments on all my new articles.
I also submit assignments at Helium, in the Marketplace, and several of my articles have been bought by publishers.
Articles are published instantly at Helium, and go into a rating system. It is not an easy way to make money. It needs commitment and participation before you can build up a good income from page views.

Me neither. how can I submit an article to helium that is an entirely original title? I can only see how to enter into a debate or to write an article uner an existing title.

I have tried helium because of someone's recommendation. I found it stimulating but my earnings were way below my expectations. I decided to just lay low for a while and do mylot more. Cheers!!

Ive been with AC, triond and Helium and so far I find Helium much more rewarding and motivating with regards to writing articles and earning good money. People say it is also good at AC but since I'm not from the US, I don't get upfront payments which is sad. I do hope they'll change their policy on that. Good luck and happy writing.

I totally agree. AC is a great site to work for but it just takes so long to then to publish it and get you your money. I think they need to step things up. They pay good but right now its slow and i can't stand waiting. haha.
