Teen threatens to kill Hilary Duff

A Russian teenager, held for threatening to kill singer-actress Hilary Duff, has appeared in court. The 18-year-old Maksim Myaskovskiy was arrested on Friday after Duff and her rockstar boyfriend Joel Madden filed a restraining order against him last month. In his court appearance on Tuesday he pleaded no guilty to a felony charge of stalking. During the arraignment, his bail was increased from $200 000 to $1-million. Another hearing was set for November 22. In the court orders filed on October 12, the 'Lizzie McGuire' star and Madden, from the band Good Charlotte, claimed Myaskovskiy was obsessed with her. Since July, they claimed, he had increased efforts to get in contact with Duff. The Russian teen had reportedly used his 50-year-old roommate, David Joseph Klein, a self-claimed celebrity photographer, to make the advances towards Duff.
