Have you ever felt cheated in your life??

This is really a tough situation for me.For the last few days I am just wondering why I am still struggling to find my feet in my job.I am sincere,hard working ,finish my assignments in time and I do this with all my honest efforts.But,last month when the promotions were announced I could find my name in the list.Some of my colleagues who had joined after me and are performing average they got promoted.This is the first time in my life I have complaints about life.Why just life can't be fair to me???Have you ever faced such a situation ever before in your life????
