Ok it just irrates me when people don't clean off there cars after it snows and it blows all over your car and you cleaned your's off. My son just left I look outside and what do I see. Him in his car with the wipers on and snow all over the car but where the wipes are. He knows better but will he clean it? no just like the rest of the ones that like to blow snow on our nice cleaned off cars so we can see and not bother other people. So do you clean your car off? And if not why is that? Thank you for responding and reading. Happy Holidays

You should alway's clean off your car. As you need to let it warm up so not to ruin your car. I mean really get up early and just take your time. I really do dislike going out 10 to 15 min. early but I do. I can't afford a new car. And I don't want the snow on my van to blow off and maybe kill someone as they can't see. You have a wonerful day and take care of your self. Your friend onlydia

Yes thank you jillhill. I can't reach the top of my van as well, but I sure do try. By the time I'm sone there is only a sliver left. Hey I'm short and I have a long brush. I hope you have a wonderful day and be safe snow again. Your friend onlydia

I clean my car off as much as I can. I hate when people don't completely clean their car off and I have to drive behind them and am showered with snow during the entire trip. So I clean as much of it off as I can because I feel like it's common curtesy and it's much safer to do so too. It's easier to see when people don't have snow blowing in their faces.

Wow! I never ever thought about that. I don't live where it snows but I can see that this could be a potential disaster. I can totally see that happening. That probably causes a lot of accidents when that happens. Thank goodness I live in Florida where we don't have to deal with that. I just love it when our kids listen to us. I have a teenager too and I know exactly how you feel.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I can't wait until he is the one saying didn't I tell you. They alway's say sorry Mom. I told him tonight yeah right. Do it one more time and I take the car until you pay me for it. Show some respect for other drivers. PLEASE. You have a good day. Your friend onlydia

I always do that because it is dangerous if you leave a snow on a rooftop... I hate when snow falls of a truck and hits my car. I'm lucky because I never get ice that can also fall off a truck.
I think it is against the law to drive a car like that. I'm talking about the law in Croatia.
Happy Holidays to you too! ;)

Haha, this qustion seems too far away from me for I can not afford a car yet. After the snow, I usually sweep the garden and clean the snow on the roof. But nowadays it rarely snows in our city. I think it is probably caused by the warmer and warmer temperature in the globe. May one day I can afford a car! Hol.

Yes I do clean my car completely off before I go out to avoid this exact incident I had this morning.
I was driving about 40 mph behind your son! LOL No seriously behind someone that didn't and a big sheet of snow and ice come flying back at me. Luckily I was far enough back that it didn't hit me but that makes me so mad when people do it. Don't they know they could cause a major accident when it does decide to come flying off of the vehicle!
At the minimum it can hinder their visibility. Don't you just love kids though! LOL

I mostly do. However some days I am lazy and especially if it is light fluffy snow I leave some on. I make sure my windows are clean though. I have to back out of my driveway so I need good vision. This year the snowbanks are six feet high at the end of the driveway so I cannot see traffic coming.
Sometimes though if I know if I am going out that day to brush the car off early in the day. That way unless it snowed in the meantime, I can just go out, let it warm for a minute and I am off. That way if I am a few minutes late, I am not tempted to skip the brushing off my car.

It doesn't snow in my country here. But when the air is really polluted, and if it rains, those raindrops will carry the dirt in the air, and when these rainwater dries on the car, you'll be able to see that it's all those dust collected on your windscreen.
And since that pretty much makes it look dirty, yeah, i've got to wash it off.

I always clean the car off before going somewhere. I usually start the car 20-30 min ahead of time so there is not excuse not to clean it off.

WOO HOO I just love that. I try and try with my son. And then some people at work oh my. Yes I sit at work for 20 min. And I clean off my van and I can't reach the very top but I get half on both sides. There is a silver that I can't reach. Well, you have a good day and stay warm. Onlydia

At one point when my car was new, I would baby it and get everything i possibly could off it in the winter. Snow on the roof, ice on all windows and so on. Earlier in the year we had a bad hail storm that pretty much destroyed all the panels of my car and it was declared totalled. So now I'm one of those guys that lets rain clean the car off and as far as snow and ice, i let the defrosters take car of the front and rear windows and I'm off.
As far as the danger of leaving snow and ice on the car to other drivers, never really have that issue here because I live in Texas so nothing really sticks.
