Who out there is interested in the stock market?

I love the stock market. I love just about everything about it. Whether I am winning or losing, I like the challenge.
For some reason I enjoy the fact of knowing I am fighting an uphill battle, that 80 percent of the people who try to trade individual stocks end up under-performing the market, due to misplaced greed and fear. I like the idea of having to be consistent and trying to win, even through commissions and price slippage on the spread.
Who else out there enjoys the stock market, whether you enjoy trading like I do, or prefer a more long term investment oriented approach. I know there are a lot less people now than there were a year ago. And I am sure a lot less a a year ago than in the late 90's.
If you do, could you let me know what kind of online resources you enjoy using in your quest to beat Mr. Market. I personally like using Yahoo Finance, Stockcharts, Stockfetcher, and Quotetracker (but only the free tools of course).

I'm interested in the stock market but frankly,I don't know enough about it to do it myself. I would love to learn more about it. I have a company that invests my money so I really just get updates. I wish I knew enough about it to start investing on my own. Where did you learn?

I learned from books, and a lot of trial and error (and lately a lot of errors).
One place where you can learn the basics is...
http://www.morningstar.com/cover/classroom.html
Morningstar has free and pay services, but if I were you, I would just use the free. If you get a free account, then you can do the Morningstar classes that give you basic info to start in either stocks or mutual funds.
I trade using a more technical (looking at the price movement) method, rather than a fundamental (looking at the business' numbers, etc). Morningstar focuses more on the fundamental stuff.
For a good technical analysis blog, I like Brian Shanon's blog...

Hello Brian. There are quite a few colleagues around me who are interested in buying and selling stocks, including my wife. But few of them have really won the stocks ever since May last year. It is very risky to invest in stocks though I am a little interested in the stock market. Recently another colleague of mine invested in the stock market and he is right now very interested in it. Though he has not won much, I do hope that he will win. In fact, he has lost part of his money.
Well, I thank you so much for being my friend. Have a good day and enjoy yourself.

I love the stock market too and even more importantly I love the challenge. I spent the better part of a year learning all the intricacies before I started .I remember the first day I started and when I bought my first stock ,I felt so powerful just knowing with the push of a button I owned a company in U.S form my island home. The bad thing though was that I didn’t keep it long and not long after I was selling again and I have lived to regret it ,the stock was nutrisystem or NSI ,back then it was selling for about 7 dollars and now it is worth a lot more. I might have learned some of the terminology but I didn’t learn to control my exuberance. I would play the market like this for some time and after many losses I finally calmed down and settled into a more long term strategy .The problem though is that I dont have a lot of money and so now I mostly buy penny stocks.
My account is with ameritrade and I use their stock quotes, I use to have an account with sogoinvest too but I think that has been overrun by fees.I use yahoofinance ,stocktarker and quote.com.
Lately I have been interested in foreign currency trading ,have you ever tried that ?

I have never tried trading currencies. One word of caution... with forex (foreign exchange), you are leverages a lot, sometimes up to something like 400X from what I've heard. Apparently you can lose a lot more than you even put in there in the first place. I think it would be good to start out just trading currency ETFs through your stock broker.
