Age difference while dating?

Do you think that there is an age range that is best for a relationship. For example, if a girl is 20, what is the highest age her boyfriend should be. Do you think that age makes a difference on the possibility of a lasting relationship or is age just a number?

I think it's more about maturity levels than the age, if that makes any sense. Like, in highschool, some might think of it as weird if a freshmen goes out with a senior. Which it most of the time is. But at the same time that's only a four years difference. If an older couple were four years apart I wouldn't think anything weird about it. For being 20, I think five years would be good, because you're not even 21 yet, the legal drinking age. And maybe that has some maturity effect. Just saying :)

I think about 5 years would be good. It's not too much of an age gap or generation difference. I don't think I'd date someone who was too much older than me, say 10 years. It's almost like different lifetimes! Well there are cases worse than that, but if you love someone age shouldn't really matter..
