My dad has just had his fourth hernia surgery. I've been reading about it, and they are supposed to be pretty simple surgeries, and complications are rare. Yet now he is in the hospital for a really bad infection. I don't understand why he keeps having this surgery over and over again. I know some people just don't react to the surgeries, but maybe someone else has been through this or can give more information on why it's like this. I just want him to be done with all of these surgeries!
