How many hours do you watch TV in a day?

I probably watch around 3 hours of tv a day depending what is on. I like to watch comedies and stuff that comes on around 8pm. I don't know if computer is bad for you or not. I use mine to make money on here and keep in touch with family and friends. So I think computers are good lol.

This is a pretty good discussion and television is very important because it is a good source of entertainment because it can make you laugh and it can make you think and it is a good way to relax when you are stressed out,and it is also a good way to the pass the time when you are either really bored,or have nothing to do or if it is too cold outside,or if it is snowing outside,or if it is raining outside,or if it is a day you just do not want to go outside,and would rather stay inside,and I am sure there are a lot of people out there who spent a lot of hours a week or even a day watching television,and it is probably their favorite hobby,or they spend all their spare time doing,and then I am sure there are probably people who do not like television because they call it the idiot box,or they only spend a couple hours a week or a couple hours a day watching it because they are very busy trying to accomplish other things,or they have other things that rather do in their spare time such as reading,when I was a kid I used to love watching television and it was always one of my favorite pastimes and I would spend a lot of hours a week and at least six or eight hours a day watching television,and whenever I was not sleeping,on the internet chatting with people,or playing video games I was always watching television,and sometimes I would leave the television on,and lay awake and listen to it,because it would help me fall asleep since I used to have insomnia at night,now that I am with my fiance we do not get to watch a lot of television because we are always very busy trying to accomplish all kinds of different tasks,such as we spend most of our time online trying to make money since we can not find a job right now,so we have to depend on our online earnings from sites like mylot to survive,especially since we are saving for our wedding,and planning our wedding which is set for September of next year,and we still have a lot to do an plan,and before long it will be January and we will have to make the invitations,and start worrying about the attire and the food and other things we need for the wedding,but we still do try to find time to watch television,and I am not sure exactly how many hours a week we spend watching television but we often watch television while we are eating which is usually an hour or two depending on what we are eating,and if we are relaxing after wards,and then we sometimes watch television for an hour before we get out of bed so we can relax before we attack the day and all we have to do for the day,and sometimes an hour before we go to bed to help us unwind so we can fall asleep and get a good nights sleep,so we probably watch television around three hours a day or so I guess around twenty one hours a week probably give or take since some days we watch more and some days we watch less television,even though we do like television especially cartoons,since they are a good source of laughter.

I only watch about 2 hours of tv. I spend most of my time on the computer. I think more people are spending more time on the computer and I think that would be a good change.

On an average, I watch about 1 - 2 hours of tv a day... Most of those times I watch news... Like you, I tend to spend more time in front of my computer because even the news, I can get'em on my computer now... May be once or twice a week, I'd watch a movie with my girl friend & my daughter...

I think TV is not good for everybody, so I few watch TV program, that my choice.

My tv is on most of the time I'm home but it's mainly just background noise. Very few shows interest me as much as they used to. Even right now my TV is on and I'm paying more attention to the internet.

actually i hardly watch tv...the only time i watch tv is when the internet is not owrking or when there is nothing interesting on mylot which hardly ever happens...... but when i do watch tv....star world.....is what i watch the most but only when there are comedy episodes happening..... i dont like the soaps........ the nextchannel i like is star movies or hbo.....basically all the movie channels come next..... if still nothin good on movie channels then i move onto animal planet, discovery or national geographic, though sometimes i also like watchin axn n travel and living.... but most of the time im online... and i dont even remember the last time i watched tv :P
