How do you guys choose a topic and start blogging?

I'm curious as to how the many of you with successful blogs chose the topic for your blog? I have been told to do what interests me, but I have many interests and don't know how to choose which ones to write about. I'm also curious as to how everyone promotes their blog. Is it just things like signatures in forums, or is there another way I don't know about?

People like statistics, information, humors. First, choose according to what do you expect your visitor is. Second, relate it to an issue, analysis or discoveries. Third, make it as interesting as possible.

Ok, thanks, that helps a lot. That makes it seem like topic doesn't matter so much as applying the three things you mentioned: statistics, information, and humor, to what topic I choose to write about. Am I understanding that correctly?

to choose a intersting topic .ur need study a .more books ur read,more idea will come.....
