Love is a relationship of trust. Love is not necessarily between opposite gender. I love my Kid. I guess, when you sacrifise your personal pleasures to to make the other person happy, you can say that you love that person. Love is also one of the most powerful emotions as it can make us do the unthinkable. eg: you may jump in a pond to save your loved one, even if you do not know smimming!!
