First of All Who are You???

You probably do not really want to know me but I will introduce myself. Well my real name is Justine. I am from Larne Northern Ireland. It is a very small Town 23 miles from Belfast. I am getting old and have four daughters who are, 20yrs, 19yrs, 13yrs and 12yrs. I am a busy Mum and I also have a Granson who is 3 months old. I used to be a hairdresser by trade and then managed a small grocery shop until I got sick three years ago. I love gardening and football. Liverpool FC is my favourite team. My favourite colours are red and pink. I am a white person and human with dyed blonde hair as it is now grey. I am Christian but do not go to church. My favourite pop group is "Take That" and my favourite Pop star is "Robbie Williams". My favourite Movies are "Titanic" and "Groundhog day". My favourite food is potatoes and roasts meat, gravey and vegetables.

Hello Tushavi, "who am i" is a question every human being on earth should ask of one self. When real introspection or self inquiry starts then Man will find hundreds of layers which envelop him and these layers are what is called as the EGO. This ego is our individuality which makes us what we are, a normal human being with all our faults and foibles.For eg you have said that you are first a human and then Muslim and then a Pakistani. To tell you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth you are neither.You are the ETERNAL SOUL which has always existed, cannot be tasted,touched, smelt or heard.You are the purest of the pure. and it is the impurity calles the ego which as made you what you are.In fact there is nothing that exists in creation but you and all the myriad souls that exist along with you are all but you. It is only our ego that makes us see the differences in each other and when the ego vanishes then nothing else is left but YOU AS THE PURE SELF.This is very high philosophy and maybe you may not understand it but when you grow older and wiser then you will understand and then cease to think as you are thinking now. Go deep in your religion and you will find that all religions teach the same,love for God, brotherhood,kindness,NONVIOLENCE and all the good virtues that make a man what he should be and not as he is at present.Good luck to you and God bless you.

Hi Tushavi You have started a very interested discussion let me explain "Who i am" I am a living entity different from the body! Just as a person who speaks with the help of a telephone or listens to a call with the help of that instrument, has his entity different from that of the telephone, he himself being a living person who has the faculties or characteristics of feeling, thinking, willing and making effort. Similarly, the conscious entity in the body which uses the word "I" is different from the body which has eyes, ears, nose etc as it's components. I am not the eyes, the ears or the mouth bu I see with my eyes, speak through the mouth, hear with the ears and am their master. I am a soul, eternal and immortal. The body is mortal; I have got it to do actions and to experience the result of my actions. I am the doer and the one who experiences.
