how many friends do you have ? do you have college friends or school friends?

I don't think it's important to have a ton of friends, but I definitely believe it's important to have someone you can call a true friend. True friends are VERY hard to find. I have TWO good friends that I have known since I was in grade school, so about 15 years or so ago. Obviously I've met and been friends with tons of other people since then, but it's these two people that I am still friends with to this day. We don't get to see each other every weekend, or every month to be quite honest, but we stay in touch as much as we can. We all have our own lives to live - I'm married with a family and work full time, one friend is in nursing school full time, and the other is married and works full time, so we are all very busy and have different schedules. I also have a true, good friend that I have met since I've been working at my current job. I'm very fortunate and greatful to have her as a friend - I can confide in her whenever I need someone to talk to. Friends are so important to me and I feel them as a necessity in my life. My life wouldn't be complete without my friends. Hold on to the people that mean the most to you. Those are the ones that really matter in your life.

I completely agree wit aree... Wat really matters is how many frnds will stand for us till the end!!!! But the biggest task in this world is to identify these ppl from the rest of normal ppl in our lives.. We can differentiate only by giving chance to everyone to get close to us... to like us... to make us cry...to make us laugh...to hurt us.. and the relationship which doesn`t succumb to any of these lives forever...Experience is required to identify the real nature of ppl... After 23 years, i just have a handful of really close friends.. and even lesser no of intimates with whom i share everything.. I can say that i have 2 very close friends who are ready to do anything for me.. just for me and my happiness.....
