Pacquiao vs. Hatton could be May 2

Pacquiao's promoter is now talking to Hatton's men and they may stage the fight on May 2, 2009. It will still be held in Las Vegas maybe because of PPV considerations since majority of the market is in the United States. The time difference between US and UK is not suitable for PPV hours.
It would have been cool though if Pacquiao fought at Wembley since it is another great footnote to his career. Specially if he wins in the UK.

any fight by pacquiao now will be a mega-fight. but a fight with an established boxer will surely make it a super mega-fight. hatton is an established superstar in boxing and commands great following in the UK for his style of boxing. a no non-sense brawler with a stance of coming forward seems to be a prefect match for pacquiao. this is promising to be another blockbuster fight. can't wait to see it.

I like the way Hatton fought Mayweather although the latter was too stylish for him.

its another dream match if i should say so myself. and another mismatch putting pacquiao again as the under dog. hey people like underdogs and its really great to one win! hope that fight will push through..its a fight one should not miss

I also think that way too. Even Manny Pacquiao said he is willing to fight Ricky Hatton in UK. He is used to fight before against the crowd and through the years he has earned more fans by beating the greats in boxing.
I also saw in an interview with Ricky Hatton that after the fight Manny's fans would be his fans and his fans would be Manny's fans. I hope it would come true. Hope they give us a very exciting fight that is really worth watching.
