My boyfriend sent me a gift for my birthday and Christmas. I'm really cash-strapped right now.If you were me, would you give something back? If yes, what would you give him?

In most cultures it is accepted that a gift should be reciprocated. But in a relationship like love, it is certainly not necessary. Your gift to to your boyfriend could be your unconditional love. Being a man , i can quite confidently say that i will not expect a return gift from my girlfriend. It will also hurt my ego if to try to match me gift for gift. If you feel a compulsive need to gift, then a hand crafted ILU card will do just fine. By the way Advance X-mas wishes for you.

I think the answer to your question lies in your heart. If it was your BF that is strapped for cash, would you mind for getting nothing from him? ask yourself. For lovers, the value of a present does not depend on how must it cost, but the message sent to receiver:how important you 're in my heart. Sometimes, just a few words are better than an expensive gift. P.S. I lot I'd like to say,but don't know how to express.Writing in English just a little difficult for me.

That's ok cucu. Based from what you've written, I feel in my heart the things you want to say .
