What Do You See When You Look Out Your Front Door?

When I look out my front door I see my neighbors house all decorated for the Christmas holiday, lights everywhere, big red bows and wreaths are on the windows and doors, two big plastic candles in the front yard. At night there is a Christmas tree all lit up in the den window.
The neighbors on the left and right of me have not put up any decorations yet neither have I, I just can't get in the Christmas spirit. My daughter is having Christmas brunch over to her house Christmas morning, I hope I be in the spirit by then and don't spoil anyone's Christmas Day.
When you look out your front door what do you see?

Chevee,
I don't see much when I look out my front as my neighbours don't decorate their outside of the house, they all have Christmas decoration indoors like me, I have my tree up and my front room is all decorated with streamers and tinsles, my tree is all lit up with lights, its all look so pretty and presents under the tree for my family and friends. Hugs.

When I look out of my front door all is see is woods. We live in a subdivision, but no one lives across the street from us. I'm pretty sure you will get into the Christmas spirit as the time get closer. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I see Main street and some small businesses. On the one side, the house is vacant, other side, I do not see any decor. House past that one has twinkling snowflake lights. I have a tree up, and I am enjoying pulling out a few decorations that are memorable. My company will leave Christmas Eve. I am trying to talk hubby into volunteering at the community Christmas dinner.

In the summer time, I see trees and more trees thanks the the leaves that have grown on them. Now in the winter time, the leaves have fallen and I'd see the church across the street, the road and both of our neighbors houses. I've enclosed a picture of begining spring when the leaves are just barely growing back. It's beautiful living in the country!

I'm sure we do and people have told us that there's bear sometimes and wolves, coyotes, foxes, deer, and others but we haven't seen anything but a few deer because it's so dark outside and our back yard is fenced.

When I look out my front door I see my neighbors house and his horses. He doesn't have any Christmas decorations up at all that I can see. My neighbor down the road has his yard all decorated tho. Don't see much back where I live off of the beaten path. I'm like in my own little corner of the world lol.

I see a few strings of lights and garland on my neighbors porch. That's all I see other then cars and houses. Don't worry, I think you'll be fine on Christmas day. Just think about spending time with your family.

When I look out my front door, I see the house acros the street. i also see some spooky looking trees. The one house is having its roof re done and was rrecently bought by someone. I have no idea who. But I hear the house is haunted as you can her a baby cry in the middle of the night when it is all quiet out. I ahve no idea about teh story behind it. But I would like to find out. I figure a baby or cat, whichever has be a better sound than hearing those crazy chickens and roosters all night long.

I see a small garden and rows of houses. We can not afford a house so we live in an apartment. HOwever we can still benefit from our high floor, a beautiful horizon whithout any encumbrance. LOL... Every morning, I enjoy the sunshine very much, the light can reach as far as my doorway, so the whole sitting room is warm and bright. When I am not occupied, i usually take a chair to the balcony and stay there quitely seeing the beautiful scenery outside. Sometimes I go for a stroll in the small garden. There is always a hope in my heart that if only I can play badminton with my husband on weekend. However, it seems that he is always so busy that even on weekend he has to work. Anyway, the beautiful garden makes me forget the tiredness for all day long's work and let me relax. I love it. We don't celebrate Christmas, so we can not see the decoration of christmas house and the only place that we can feel the christmas air is the supermarket. The sellers promote the goods on the occasion.
I always think over the question. If one is about to leave the world, how great the wishes of staying here would be. So we should cherish bits and pieces of our daily life. It is so beautiful. Although I have to work hard to support the apartment and live a busy life, I love the life. May one day I can go abroad to enjoy the genuine air of christmas in your country.

I see my front yard, trees, bushes and a lot of ice! LOL Luckily, the ice we got yesterday is melting, but not before bringing down a few tree branches.
But we don't see our neighbors' houses. They are all hidden by trees. Through the trees in front of our house we can see a bit of the farm land of our neighbor's but not their house.
At night, when it's dark, we can see some Christmas lights through the trees but just barely.
Maybe I should get out more and look at all the decorations already out. I, too, need a bit of the Christmas spirit; I have none. I did, but it's gone now. Right after pulling a box of decorations out of the basement, I realized that, once again, I was doing it all myself. It's no fun when no one else wants to join in. I don't want anyone to do it because I told them to, either. It's either something you WANT to do or it's not. Since I'm the only one who normally wants to do it, I've decided to forget it this year and see what happens.
It seems like quite a few people have lost the Christmas spirit in recent years. It's so sad.

I understand how you feel, your situation is just the opposite of mines. I have no one here to share this spirit of decorating with. It seems useless to put up all this decoration and have to take it down. I didn't mind when the children was here. I tried doing it when they first left but I just gave it up. The thrill was gone. And I was working evenings and never got a chance to enjoy seeing my Christmas lights on so I just got out of the tradition. I do enjoy riding around looking at others beautiful decorations.

From my F21 window, I have no sight of any Christmas trees, which usually can be seen only in star hotels or malls up here.
As Shanghai, China is designated to host the 2010 Expo, the construction is going on busily on the other side of the Huangpu River. I can see the buildings getting in shape for the exhibitions, first the China Hall, and no doubt soon the other archtectures for other participates, to reflect their respective styles. We are looking forward to the completion with high expectation, and believe the event will be held as successfully as the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
Look forward to visitors coming from all of the world to witness the event with us.

Hi chevee~When I look out my front door I can see across the
street to my neighbors building. She has it all decorated
with lights and bows and her windows are decorated with lights
and it looks really nice. And a few of the other neighbors
had their windows decorated too. I don't have anything done
in my apartment. I am not in the Christmas spirit yet either.
I bought a small Christmas tree and I haven't even decorated
that yet! I am trying to finish re-decorating my apartment
by the end of this weekend because I promised my boyfriend
because we are now having company for Christmas! So I will
also have to do the little tree! I finished my Christmas
shopping yesterday, but the spirit just isn't happening for me!

I do not see as many lights on houses as I used to when I look out the door. So many people cannot afford the high electricity rates and have cut back to a string or two of lights. There are still a few houses around town with a large display of lights and this year I must go out and see if I can take a few photographs of them. I finally figured out I need a tripod to keep my camera steady because it takes so much time to take low light pictures and I shake, especially when it is really cold.

On the way into the park there are many lovely decorations. There are no decorations here on her mobil. She is disabled with C. P. and doesn't get into decorating.
