Yup I'm gonna have to agree with that other dude on this one. There's no pitchers in the NBA only shot guards, point guards, power forwards, small forwards, and centers. If you did mean best shooter or whatever then I would probably have to say Larry Bird but my favorite basketball player all around is Amare Stoudemire. He has some vicious dunks.

There is no such thing as a pitcher in basketball. There are only pitchers in baseball. I think you mean to say, who is the best shooter in NBA history? Your question can be answered many different ways, based on shooting percentage, or clutchness of the shot. Probably the two best shooters in the NBA were Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
