My current job right now is a call center agent. I take around 20-30 calls a day. It is quite a tiresome job but really pays me a lot also. How about you? What is your current job?

Oh, i see. So do you do any sideline business aside from being a housewife? Why not do something more productive while waiting for the next day to finish.

I am a file clerk for a biling company. I hate it but i tested for a state job last week and i hope to hear good news in a few weeks. If i get that job my salary will be double of what i get now and i will have benefits that are real good.

A file clerk is basically in charge of important billing papers. Insuring it shows up in data information. And keeping it organized. The state job I am hoping to get is working at a liqour store. Yes it is uncomfortable thinking about working there but the pay is good enough for me to get my own place.

So, it isn't the same with an accountant, right? Since accountant almost do the same job as yours.:)

I'm already married for more than five years now and we do have one daughter for a child. Aside from our daughter's future education, paying off all our outstanding obligations is one of the reasons why I had to earn extra bucks online. I have been working as a financial analyst in a local bank for more than 4 years now but I still find it difficult to make ends meet. My spouse has a job, too, but it is quite unstable. Further, they don't obtain any benefits like loan availments from government agencies, or pension from premiums contributed. In addition, their pay is also below the minimum wage dictated by our national law. Anyway, just for additional information, I have been in the local workforce for more than a decade now. But I'm afraid that by the end of the first quarter of next year, I will be one of the employees who will be displaced from our jobs because the company is in the process of dissolution, even before the global economic crisis set in. I wanted to become a self-sufficient free lancer. Admittedly, my first love is writing. In fact, I have written some short stories and short romance novels already. However, I still haven't tried to have them published. But when I came to know of mylot community, I felt like it was an answer to my prayers somehow. Happy holidays!

What short stories do you have? Is it on the motivational part? Because if that is, then maybe I can help you market it out. I am currently making a website that will attract a lot of MLM people.:)

The same job as of mine. Why resigned on your previous company? Is the salary not that good? Or the benefits are not that deserving?

I was with Western Wats. The pay was actually good...its just that I had some problems with my colleague, I just had to get out of there. I kinda regret it a bit, but hey, no use crying over spilled milk right?

I see but that is still a nice job. You don't have to do the simple tasks. You only think with the bigger tasks. Bigger power means bigger responsibility.

Oh, that's a great job. Office manager. At least you are the manager.:) So I guess, you handle a lot of people under your name, right? How many supervisors do you got?

I am a call center agent as well. You sound like you are in technical support. Are you? We get almost the same number of calls everyday. This job is kinda stressful and you really need a lot of patience when dealing with people.

Yes, I am on the technical support. I agree with you that it is quite stressful. It requires more knowledge on the technical side so that customers will believe and trust you.

Well, I'm a stay at home mom so I have many jobs. I cook, I clean, I take care of the children. I do laundry, I dust, I run the sweeper. I also do a little bit of work online. I found a great site that is at a low right now but I'm sticking it out. I've heard that call center agents make decent money. I thought about doing it but I have three small loud children at home.

That's quite hard for your part. What I can suggest, why not hire some house maid to do your jobs so you can also go to work like in a call center? Multiply your efforts through other people. Don't take all the obligations to you. You can hire someone to do that. Right? Just suggesting.

Hi trickjoseph!! I have the same job as you!! LOL.. I work in a call centre as well. But we pick calls from employees from a fortune 500 company regarding hr issues. :) There was a time I had 55 calls a day.. and that was really tiring.. To me, 20+ calls a day is not that tiring.. What's quite tiring is that in order to get more money, or to get my shift allowance, I work at night.. the graveyard shift.. Have a good day!! Take care!

Oh that's great. Fifty-five calls a day is quite plenty! Can't take that many calls. It will make my jaw burst out taking that plenty of calls! I am on a day shift. Graveyard shift is very tiresome job. Take care too!

I am working at home on the internet currently. I don't really have a current job. I can make usually around 1 to 2 hundred dollars a month working online and it is a good thing because I need to be able to make money whenever or whatever. It is hard to find a traditional job these days.

That's great! How do you have your own call center in your home? How does it work? What product and services do you offer on your home? It's quite weird. Never heard that before.
