Well, many peoples work hard on weekdays and like to relax on weekends like Sundays. But, if you are asked by your boss to come and work on a few sundays, would you like to work or would you feel frustrated? How hard would you feel, if you are asked to work on weekends? Would you refuse to go to work on Sundays or tell your boss that you wouldn't be coming? Have you ever been asked to work on weekends ? If so, What was your feeling?

Even though I am against working on Sundays, I have worked on Sundays before. I used to do the payroll for a MAJOR department store. Whenever a holiday fell on a Monday, it was necessary to get the payroll done on Sundays. I did not like the fact that I had to work, but I do understand that payroll is very important and it was something I needed to do. This may have happened three or four times a year.
But I would not normally accept a job that required me to work on a Sunday.

Oh, I have worked weekends. No, it did not bother me though. I did enjoy my work. It was not often and may be thats why I did not mind. May be if I were asked to work weekends more often, then I would chuck the job, as I would want to spend more time with my children (now grown up).

I would not want to work on Sunday, even if the boss asked me to. The reason is I have no idea whether the boss was against Christians or whether he was so desperate that he needed me to come in. I would work on Saturday, but the only reason I would work on Sunday was if it was a work of mercy or necessity. But unless my boss was the head nurse at the hospital, the chief fire inspector, or police chief, I would rather go to church on Sunday.

I usually go to church on Sunday mornings, but I do work on Sunday afternoons occasionally if the need arises...

Yes I will. Probably due to culture prevailing in our country. May be my answer would have been different had i been working in Europe. In India power gap is wide & you are generally expected to follow your bosses decision. Even though i may not like it, i will end up doing it.
The upbringing also contributes to the decision. I have been brought up with a value that " work is workship". So i guess that if the job demands it i will do it voluntary.
