Imagine this.... you find yourself a secluded island....

Now, for the purposes of my question let us assume that this island has everything essential to sustaining life. I mean you have food, shelter and warmth etc.
You must leave where you currrently live and go to live on the island. You have a very limited ability to carry things with you, as such you can only bring 5 things to the island with you. What 5 things would you bring with you?
Things to consider as you choose what to bring: Do you want people around you if so whom? Do you want to be completely alone? would you be comfortable with just an animal for company? What things do you think you could not possibly live without remember to choose wisely as you can only take 5 things with you?
I will start with one of the items I would like and that is a hot air balloon so I can see things from above and explore my surroundings?
What about you? what 5 things would you take with you and why? How did you decide what was most important to you. How hard was it for you to narrow it down to only 5 things?
Lets be as creative as we can as I am feeling a bit blah today.. help me out and give me a chuckle or even just a little smile.

I would bring light... like a flashlight, because I am 21 granted but I am still very afraid of the dark.
I would bring shea butter, because I can use it on my hair and body.
I would bring soap! (sorry gotta stay clean)
I would bring shampoo. ( Olive Oil)

I think I would choose first to bring a friend. I have a few to choose from so it would be the first to agree to go with me. They would have to be so easygoing. That narrows me down to a select few friends. I don't want to have to get annoyed with the one person I'm going to be on this island with.
Second I would bring my pillow case. I am remarkably and ridiculously particular about the material my pillow case is made out of. Currently I have my uncles old HeMan pillow case because its the only one with the right material. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I left it behind.
I would like to bring Boggle third. I LOVE that game. I suppose I would want another bit of criteria for my friend to be that they can contend with me. I'd hate to always win. Boggle is amazing.
Fourth I would bring a music device. Music is just right. It's built into all of us so I have a feeling I would find it hard to live comfortably without music. I also love to dance for recreation so it'd be a form of entertainment on two levels.
Lastly I would want a kaleidoscope. I don't know if I can explain the glory of kaleidoscopes. You look through them and you see the world abstractly and strictly beautiful. It's so hard to get an ugly view through a kaleidoscope. My kaleidoscope could easily keep my spirits lifted.
