Well Christmas is almost upon us and I have yet to finish my Christmas shopping! I say every year I am going to get it done early! Maybe even pick things up throughout the year, but do I....nope! So here I am again, picking things up at the last minute! You'd think I'd learn after all these years! LOL! What about you? Are you done shopping yet are you in the same boat as me? Rhonda

No, I have not finished my christmas shopping yet, I have to wait until there is not a lot of snow on the roads. It snows in my town almost every night, there is always ice and it is not safe to drive, plus driving is not my favorite hobby. I would rather walk to walmart, where there is happy people ringing bells outside, and Children walking a happy walk becuase they are going to get a present for themselves or for their friends, I sure do like walmart.

I am happy to say that this year, I have done my shopping earlier and have finished buying all my presents except for one, which I will buy this weekend. In all I have shopped for 20 presents. I started buying my first two presents in July during the sale season here. In previous years, I used to buy until the last week before Christmas, and sometimes, it had been hectic. I certainly don't like the last minute rush to complete my Christmas shopping, because sometimes I can't figure out what to buy despite spending hours at the shops. Given that my shopping is just about over with Christmas still a week away, you can bet I am feeling rather relaxed now.

Yes I am in the same boat as you and I still have a lot to pick up yet. I pretty much have to shop for everyone on my list yet. Tomorrow is the only chance I"ll have to get it done.. because I have to work nights this weekend. I don't like doing anything when I work nights. I do have monday to pick up more if I really need to like stocking stuffers or extra things. have a good day

I finished my Christmas shopping last month. I usually start several months early, because I usually find things that I know would make perfect gifts for my loved ones. I buy them early, because many times they are no longer available by the time December comes around, and in that case, I'm out of luck.

I remember years ago when I actually said and did get all of my Christmas shopping done by October. Those years though are long gone. I cannot remember when the last time was that I did not have to run amuck at the last minute getting Christmas presents that I just kept putting off and that goes for this year as well. I do have some shopping done but not all of it.

Took me forever to respond because with the holidays and my kids being out of school I had very little computer time but now with things back to normal just wanted to say that I managed to get it all done in time for Christmas and everyone received their gifts.

The days are counting down and my boyfriend and I have gotten no one a gift, yet! We have to wait until this paycheck and a day he is off from work, Saturday. Still, we are confused about who we are getting gifts for. We are low on money since his hours at work were cut. We may only get the children presents this year.

I only have a few more things to get and it's nothing huge and probably will be rather easy to get ahold of. I just need to get it and probably will be able to go shopping by Monday to get it. So I'm not that worried about getting finished.

Yes Christmas is in seven days from now... And we have our Christmas party on the twenty first... that is sunday and means that its three days from now. My husband and I were kind of panicky because of that. While we bought things or gifts for loved ones... we are of arguing. Its typical to both of us to argue actually...but... when we bought gifts was kind of different though... because we argued about money and expenses. It is a reality that most people in the entire world are having this dilemma though and unfortunately we one one of those. Last night we went to one of our cheapest market ever.. to have a night shop with a friend. We bought loads and loads of toys and stuff but still after we wrapped it this morning we still found out that we did not bought enough. It means more arguments again. and I am soooo sick of it. Men are sometimes insensitive (well, sorry to those who are not.) They just dont care if some are left out... but, take note when others remember them its a big deal to them. I just dont get it. But yes, we are not yet done with our Christmas shopping and infact we are going to shop today.... I am just waiting for my husband to wake up. Wish me peace and joy shopping with him. lol!

I am only about halfway done on a list a page long GRRR why do I do this to myself? I am getting so stressed about the time and money I am spending shopping. I wish I was like my mom who is finished by the end of October (although she is complaining of all the sales she's missing). Maybe next year!

This is a pretty good discussion because Christmas is a very important holiday and it is a good holiday to get together with family and friends and show them how much you love and care for them,it is also a good holiday to exchange gifts with your loved ones, even though it is not just about the gifts,it is more about the spirit and about celebrating the birth of Jesus, and I am sure that there are a lot of people out there who have not finished their Christmas shopping yet, either because they got a late start on doing their shopping,or because they have a lot of people to shop for, which it can take a while to find the right gifts, especially since most of the stores are filled with Christmas shoppers,so it means having to navigate through people, and suffer through long lines, and then I am sure there are a lot of people who have already finished their Christmas shopping, either because they started early,or maybe because they only had a few people to shop for so it did not take them long to find what they were looking for,it sucks that you are not done with your shopping yet,and I wish you the best of luck in getting it done, and my family is not exchanging gifts this year because money is so tight, but me and my fiance have finished our Christmas shopping,we bought some books for my mom since she loves reading, especially Danielle Steele books, and we bought some golf balls for my father since he loves golf, and she made a purse for her mom and we bought gifts for each other which we exchanged early lol, because we are both impatient,I got her the Sims 2 for the Game Cube, and she got me Rainbow Six Vegas for the 360,and my brother got something for my parents, that is wrapped up here at the house, and we got my brother a game, but we gave it too him early since he works third shift so it makes it hard to see him sometimes, and my mom has bought presents for the kids she babysits for,and she said it was like a mad house at Toys R Us and she said she has finished her shopping, other than what she is going to get for me and my fiance, which the few things we asked for can be bought at either Game Stop or at Wal Mart,so it will not take her long to shop for us.

I did most of my shopping online so that made it a lot easier and quicker for me. Some of the gifts went straight to family members up north and some came here, either for the family here or to be shipped up north with other gifts. Today I forget that I hadn't gotten anything for my little dog so I took care of her this afternoon...toys and treats...but I'm still stuck for gifts for my stepson and his fiance. Oh well, everyone else is done and I still have time.

HI unfortunately this year we are low on the money so me and my daughter made home made gifts for the family and friends. We made hand made story books for the kids in the family. We made keychains and bracelets for the rest of teh family. For my dad i painted a painting and framed it for him. As far as shoppping for Christmas I got most of mine done on nov 20th when i got my child tax I borrowed my dec child tax from mom and did all my kids shopping in one day! Wasnt easy! LOL Walmart is the best. I go there and get everything for the kids. I fluked into my sons gift he wanted elmo live went to walmart they had one left but it had a blue stain on his nose. They gave it to me at a discount of 15% yay. Im sure my son will do more dammage then that. LOL.
