Why are you blogging?

What made you start your blog? Why would you rather have a blog than a free website? Do you advertise on your blog? What kind of blog do you have? What was the first blog you ever made? Have you ever made a blog about making money online? Do you own multiple blogs? Do you make any money from your blog? Can you give me an estimate of how much? Can you give me an estimate of how many hours you've spent blogging?

My blog is from blogspot. i liked the idea at first because my friend started working full time at home just from keeping up a blog. so that got me interested. but i realized that having a blog and earning like her is not easy at all.
but i still love blogging because i can write about anything under the sun.. from my personal life to my journeys, to my problems an opinions and you easily get feedback if youre post is good. i also make a lot of friends by blogging.
right now, my blog is also earning a little bit,.. but still.. i am earning. maybe up to 2 dollars per post.
i blog around 4 to 5 hours, or 2 hours on weekdays.

I blog on www.xanga.com because I started to use that website about 7 years ago just to write about my days and thoughts. It was like a personal diary and I still use it to this day. I don't write as much as I used to, but I still like to write about big events or things I want to remember. It's fun to go back and read my past posts on my blog because it lets me think of what I've done in my life.
