Hello, friend. You just reminded me of how much time I have left to figure out where I would get the money to purchase gifts for my loved ones. I must admit that except for the clothings which we have bought last Sunday for my husband and our daughter, I still haven't wrapped any gifts or presents for my parents, siblings, and other relatives, and in-laws. I was also able to buy an umbrella and 3 pairs of stockings for myself. But other than these, our christmas three is still bare of gifts wrapped for others. Like you, I used to wrap several gifts for my officemates, siblings, cousins, and parents. I would even make a list of all the people to be given gifts so that I wouldn't skip anyone. But honestly, I feel happier wrapping a lot of gifts then rather than wrapping no gifts at all.

Here, just another 9 hours to make it 5 more days before Christmas. Anyway, I love wrapping rather than using a bag. That is because when I want to give a gift, I want the person I am giving to will feel very curious to know what I give to them. So, not just wrapping, sometimes I cut newspaper or colored paper to make it slim, and very short. Then, I put the gift in a box, and covered it with slim and short paper. Then, when the person is going to take out his/her gift, he/she will have to dig into the wrapping to get their hand onto the gift. Besides, I think wrapping will make the gift looks valuable and beauty. Although the thing inside the wrapping is just a cheap thing. :)

I definitely prefer to wrap the gifts, especially if it's for kids. I like to plan what I would be giving to each person in my life and wrap it up and imagine how happy they would be when they open it. However, I just buy cheap wrapping paper, kids will just tear it apart when they open their gifts anyway.

Hi Rberon, I am usually stressed out with the shopping - what to buy for whom, and where? But once all the gifts are bought, I really enjoy wrapping them up. Even if I don't have the time, I would stay the whole night just wrapping presents! It's fun!

I enjoy wrapping gifts but since I've been busy, I just don't have the time to do it anymore. What I do is when I'm not busy, I make my own paper bags. Its cheaper than the commercial ones and they don't look that different.

It's all about the thought right? Well throwing my presents into a bag and handing it to me doesn't seem thoughtful. I love wrapping gifts and I am not even that good at it. I really am not but hey, like I said, it's the thought that counts.

I do a bit of both. It depends what I feel like doing and such. Though I must admit that I'm not a very good wrapper, but hey, I'll probably get better with time and practice.

I love to wrap. I find that it is one of the most pleasant and relaxing parts about the holidays. I like to use wrapping paper whenever possible. I also like to accent the paper with lots of ribbons and bows in coordinating colors. I like real ribbon and not the stuff made from paper or plastic because I think it gives the gifts a more elegant look. I also like to add a handmade gift tag as an embellishment. I think it is a nice personal touch. I have to agree with you that since I have joined this site, I'm am spending quite a bit of time on here, but I will still find time to wrap.
