Do you hate it when people cancel plans?
Yes,me too. I am always understanding because I know things come up in life that are beyond control. I'm sure that some of you have experienced the same thing. You make plans with someone and rearrange your schedule to make it work. You get excited for the big day of your plans and then you find out that the plans must be canceled.
What are your feelings?

THere are some people who are always cancelling plans and I have learned to just disregard their invitations or if I say yes I am prepared for them not to show up. I am the type that when I make plans I keep them unlesss something truely urgent comes up. I try to give advance notice if I have to cancel on someone.

I don't really feel happy when people cancel plans that affect me, unless it's necessary. But, there are too many changes in our lives, we just can't control this or make it unchanged. I do not like especially changing plans at work. Sometimes, you've put a lot of efforts in a piece of work, but plan keeps changing, and you'll waste your effort, and have to redo the work. Well, this is really normal in real life, so we just gotta deal with it and live with it happily.
I can now slowly accept all these changes, and it makes me happier even when plans have changed.

Unexpected things beyond our control do come up and I understand that because things have come up in my life that have made me change plans. But this is frustrating. I have a friend who told me that she won concert tickets off of a radio station for last Thursday and then when I asked her if we were still on, she said she had not received the tickets. Then we were supposed to go to a hockey game this Friday night, which I was looking forward to, and she texted me today and said that she has family from out of state coming to visit for Christmas. Two cancellations with unbelievable excuses in one week is a bit ridiculous and maddening, especially since there were other things that I was asked to do on the same day.

I have had the same problem. I hate turning down other plans because I thought I had plans and then they were canceled.

i have the tendency to be a control freak. i really hate it when something unexpected happens to break plans i have already made or laid out. i understand that things happen all the time which we really don't plan for. some of these things we really can't plan for, even if we wanted to. but never the less, i still get a bit irate when things go the other way than planned. so if somebody cancels on me and makes me rearrange well laid out schedules... well, you can probably tell how i would normally feel. hehehe
