whats your favorite holiday food?

my favorite food for holiday, are "sarmalute" with mamaliga, it`s a romanian food, but it`s verry known . Maybe some of you ate that. It`s verry delicios, but it`s a heavy food, so you souldn`t make excess. Try on that food if you have the chance. If you wanna cook at home, it`s verry easy. you should try it.

I love pecan tarts. I only like them homemade though. Some stores sell them in the bakerys and they just don't taste the same as homemade. I hope that someone is making them this year. I don't make them, I only eat them.

Okay, holidays schmolidays, that banana cake sounds good anytime! I am not big on "holiday" food as such. I do like cranberries (real ones not out of a can) and fresh baked rolls. I also like all the cookies and cakes that go along with Christmas. I made apple cinnamon oatmeal cookies last weekend and this weekend Mexican Wedding cakes and maybe an orange cranberry pound cake.

The classic pumpkin pie w/ whipped cream is always a favorite of mine. OH, YEAH...AND EGG NOG!
