In my city, there is rule that any building highter than 7 floors must install elevator. But sometimes you have to go upstairs on foot even there is elevator served. My record is 25 floors. A month ago, my mother had to stay at 25th floor in hospital for a week. I often went to see her, but there were too many people waiting for the elevator. So I decided to go upstairs on foot. The first time it costed me almost ten minutes and I felted exhausted. The second time is 8 minutes I felt better. The third time is five and I felt a little tired. Gradually I found that it is really a perfect way to exercise. Now I often do it at my mansion. Have you ever had this experience in your life?

25 floors is amazing!!!!! I have climbed maximum 5 floors. My office is in the 5th floor. And sometimes when I am late for my work and elevater takes ages to come or there's a huge crowd in fron of the elevator, I take the stairs. This happens once or twice a month. It takes me 4-5 minutes to reach the 5th floor.

25 floors is really a lot!! You really made it, and you have tried so many times. In my country, any building which is higher than 5 floors must have lift. The most I have tried is 8 floors, if I am not mistaken. I wanted to go to the class with my sister, but there are too many people waiting for the lift, and my sister is going to be late, so we decided to use the staircase. I always go and look for my aunt who is staying at 7th floor, and the lift is always out of service, so we always have to use the staircase to go to 7th floor.

Sometimes you'd better do some exercise as many as we can at anytime because we are too busy to have exclusive time to do it.

When I just moved to my apartment, one day there was no electricity suddenly. And I had to go to 15th floor and this is my record. I already felt so tired after that. 25 floors is so high:) I love China

Hi garfield, congratulations for your achievement. Once I went to our state capital. i had many tasks to complete and to return on the same day. i went to meet one person for some official purpose. there were two elevators and one was out of service. the person sits at 10th floor and there was a long queue before the one working. so i just started on foot and after two pauses and much of labor i reached the 10th floor and i was just exhausted. i think i would better wait than doing it again for exercising. Happy riding ...

Thanks a lot for choosing mine as the best answer. I have not much scope to practice the same as most of the buildings here are four storied. Happy new year..
