I Have read many books, mainly literary, and I have decided for me the best book ever written is the Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas. In his book Dumas develops strong characters and plots. It is a page turn for all 500 pages. Dumas was truly a master mind of detail and description.

I too havent read this book but a girl who i know quite well is always praising this book. 100 pages seems a lot to me.I cant read this thick book but if fictional books are the topic here then my favorite author is James Headly Chase. His books are mostly murder mystery or things like that and the book i liked most is My Laugh comes last again by this very writer. This book takes you to love story and how being in blindly in love with the girl he tries to bank robbery and how he gets falsely implicated in murder infact taking blame of murder which the girl commited of her husband only to know in end that the girl never loved him only used him because she is very much in love with another guy who loves her for money she would get by making the hero fool to do bank robbery and how in end he gets wind of it and then proves his innocence and both the girl and her lover are caught by long arms of the law. I may be wrong at some laces because i read it years ago but i still love this book.

Have you ever read Greg Iles? He is a mississippi writer ( where i am from :D ) and his stories are pretty intense thrillers. You should try him or John Grisham if you haven't read those authors before

Hi there!
I haven't read the Count of Monte Cristo but I have read and heard a lot of positive reviews about it.
What I like most is The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan. I have only read up to the third book and I love all of the books so far.
