Dravid's Retirement

Well in my opinion Dravid should call it a day during the second Test match itself.If that doesnt happen it would be surprising for me.I just hope that he too comes out like Sachin and Laxman did against the Australians by performing and saving their places despite damocle's sword hanging over their heads.Hope Dravid gets a decent score at Mohali otherwise it would be very difficult for him to stay in the team.

i agree that dravid is old.but he still has the potential to play well.like he's one of the best test batsman ever.but if he cant find his form back he shud retire.but todays players are not fit for test cricket.so no one can possibly fill his place.

i get a serious doubt that this could be the end for dravid if he didnot perform well in the second test at mohali.they may be still retaining in the grade A or even say GO AND TAKE A BREAK FOR 3 MONTHS AND THEN WE WILL PICK U but thats all simply an eyewash.they did the same with ganguly by first removing him from the rest of india team and then including him in the test series against australia giving the fans the idea that ganguly might be playing for another 6 months or so and finally bursting the bubble by making ganguly announce his retirement by himself.very good strategy.getting things done and dont get dirty either.there are still players like rohit,raina,badrinath who are fighting for the next vacant spot in the indian test team line up and the selectors will be praying that atleast one of them make a century so they can take dravid out of the equation.so its simple.score atleast 70 runs in either of the 2 innings in the next match or announce your retirement at the end of this test match series.happy lotting
