Everyone has a birthday...obviously LOL
How do you like that day? Are you sad, thinking about aging, are you happy and celabrating the day you were born, do you just ignore it, ...?
Yesterday it was my birthday, turning the big 35. I dont mind aging but honestly I rather just dont think of it as it can make me sad knowing life is passing by so fast.
One thing I like about that day is I like seeing who really cares for me, who's gonna call me, send me a message come around, ect. Its nice knowing people love you and at the same time its hurtfull knowing some dont even remeber.
Happy Birthday to all the saggitarians on here ;)

Happy belated birthday, mojcica!!
My birthday too is just round the corner. Its on the 25th of Dec, yeah on the Christmas!!
I am excited, as always about the day. Not like I am going to have a big party or something, its going to be a small family get together. but its one day in the whole year that I can call my own because I was born on that day. It'll always be special to me and I am going to enjoy it every single year even if I have to do it all alone.
As far as aging is concerned, I feel its just a number. And thanks to my genes i look much younger than my age. So till a visibly start looking older, I am unruffled.

Happy birthday to you both and may you have many many more between you. I think the way to make birthdays positive is to have a huge party lol and maybe then you really can enjoy the celebration
blessed be

belated happy birthday mojcica. whenever my birthday is coming I'm a bit worried because another year will be add up to my age and another year has passed but still don't have kids yet. that's what made me worried about my age. but like you I'm also happy when everybody remember my birthday.

a belated happy birthday to you! :)
i guess aging and adding another year every birthdays is a foregone conclusion to everyone. :)
i neither like nor dislike getting older every passing year. hahaha. crudely put. anyway, honestly, i treat it like i treat each day of my life... with the only difference that i get birthday cheers, family and friends are in contact more and perhaps being treated a little more extra special that day. :)

hi and a belated happy birthday
i dont mind when people forget my birthday, as over the last 4 years its been because both my daughter and stepdaughter ar both on the 29th september and everyone gets so caught up in there birthdays and buying them gifts that they forget mine on the 4th october, i dont mind at all.
what i love to do on my birthday is taking the kids out somewhere they will enjoy sort of like a late birthday treat for them, becuase i get to spend the whole day with them on my own

Hello, mojcica!
Happy Birthday! Sorry I am late. I did not know about it. I am glad when my birthday comes. I mean, I'm still young. I'm not an adult yet, so, with every new year, I will learn new things and be able to grow. At every new year I'm closer to being a better person. I celebrate my birthday. Alright, sometimes I do not. But what matters is that I am happy with myself for all the things that I have done in the past 16 years. And I am looking forward for future. Never forgetting to enjoy the present, though.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

Well, happy birthday! I just turned 25 on Sunday and it was the only birthday I've had where it actually made me reflect. 25 is hardly elderly but now I'm starting to feel like I don't have the luxury of time on my side anymore. I'm still not ready for babies, and probably won't be for another 3, 4, 5 years. It seems hard to believe that time has passed so fast that we probably won't be having a baby until we're close to 30 (not that there's anything wrong with that).
I'm don't have a problem with getting older, but like you I'm having a hard time with how fast the years are going by!

Thanks and happy b-day to you too. I turned 36 on the 2nd. I'm ok with it mostly. If I sit down and think about al the years past and how fast they've gone,I might be sad. But,the person I am is always looking forward. I am very optimistic and spirited and can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring. It does bother me if someone close to me forgets my b-day..but they suffer for it for a whole year.lol

I'm never sad on my birthday. Half of the time I forget it's my birthday until someone says something to me. I used to know this girl who said that everytime her mom had a birthday, she would sit in her room and cry all day long because she was getting older. I still don't understand it. Why would anyone be mad about growing older. The older you get the longer you live, and I don't think anyone wants to die, and no one wants to die early. I know I don't.

There are two sides to everything..and one side of lookig at a birthday is 'growing old' the other side is 'celebrating life'. I try to ignore the first side and concentrate on the second hehe.
If you live your life angry because you're getting older you miss out on things, on joy and happiness life has to offer and where's the point of that. I do think her mother was wrong.
Thanks for replying!

I'm always excited everytime my birthday comes. Since I was a kid, my parents are planning for a birthday party for me that's why until now although I'm already 26 I'm still looking forward to celebrate for my birthday.

I sort of feel the same.
I dont see what is to celebrateabout getting older.
The damn day comes by, adds a whole 365 days to your age and buzzes of.
Somehow ive never really enjoyed my b'days.
May be i should start thinking positive( No clue what that is).

Belated Happy Birthday. I find that sometimes birthdays can be deppressing if friends reminds you of it or something negative about it. I know they mean well but it does hit the spot sometimes. And it hurts when the ones you expected to remember your birthday doesnt care at all or forgets. But think of all the experience youve been through and how you laugh, cried and learned from it all. And you will say age doesn,t matter. It's how you spend it that does. Again happy birthday

I'm not sad on my birthday, but I realise I am getting older when my son and his girl had a baby boy 10 days ago. People tell me I don't look old enough to have grown kids or even have grandkids. I will be 42 in March, and, honestly, I don't feel that old, lol.

first of all, i wanna wish you a happy birthday ^_*
in terms of my experience; well i turned 25 last saturday... i was very happy and it was really special coz my family was here (as i'm studying overseas) so, my aunties, grandma, siblings, and my parents were here, but the already backed on the same day after the party! coz i'll be back to university since the semester will start this monday...beside that, i did receive text messages and greeting messages in my facebook profile and stuff...
despite the fact of being loved by them; i did feel something missing which was my boyfriend, as he wasn't the first one to wish me a happy birthday...although i know he has lots of meetings, and he did wish me later..but, u know it doesn't feel the same...
smiley,
