no it has not affected me that much because i am not into job right now and am planning to do a business (in fact i have started the work on it ) but my friends have been affected by it very much.

Current recession has affected in an indirect way. As the buying power of money has reduced therefore things have become costlier, while there is no increase in salaries. Earlier every week I used to go for shopping now I have reduced to half, only once fortnightly. So yes this recession is affecting all.

Definitely YES! I finished my studies last year but until now, I still don't have my job. As what I had experienced when I am looking for a job, it's so difficult to find a job because of the global crisis, employers are not active in finding a job because of the economy. And the worst, some companies are deciding to close their business because they are no longer can afford to pay for their employees. But stil I am not losing my hope especially now that US president Barack Obama is already in the position. Since America is considered as the powerful country in the worls, whatever happens to their economy also reflects on our economy so I am hoping that there will be a progress since all of us believes that he can make the change that we are aiming.

I can say yes. It affects me a lot, i dont go out and enjoy time shopping and look for things to buy nows,i always need to budget everything now. We dont have salary increase in the company im working for. They are also doing cost cutting, every expenses are monitored. We dont have a lot of benefits to receive this year and there will be retrenchments. and yes i am feeling so sad about it. Its hard for me to budget my salary now. beside paying bills, i still need to support my family so i am looking for other income opportunities.

Yes, it did. I was hoping to go to Louisiana for a teaching job. My visa is ready but we were put on hold as the board decided not to import teachers and prioritize the local teachers due to economic reasons.
