Hello Everyone,
I was reading a thread on a different forum about organ donation and religion. It was quite interesting to see what some people thought about it.
I am curious to know what Mylotters think about Organ Donation and whether or not they agree that ALL children should be able to recieve a new organ no matter what the religion of the parent.
This comes to mind after the recent cases of children dying because parents didnt want to give them certain treatments.
I am not against organ donation because of religion but I dont agree with it myself as I believe and feel inside of me that we should remain 'whole'. But they are my thoughts that I have for myself and I would never inflict that on my children.
I dont think I have the right to deny a child a chance just because of how I feel and if any of my children needed a transplant, then of course I would agree to it.
I also dont ever want a blood transfusion...again...it is just how I feel inside of myself. But I wouldnt deny my children.
Should parents have the right to deny children the chance to a life?

I think that parents should give their children a chance to live a life and you never know what you can do with the technologies these day. If the children were given a chance to live a life you might also never get to know what kind of things they could have done as a grown up adult. Denying a child his/her life is not only immoral, I think that I should also be made illegal.
