Hey there friends!.. i really love mobile phones.. even though i use an old one coz' i can't afford to buy a new one, i'm still updated of the latest phones and phone releases of different brands.. as you can all observe, since the release of the apple iphone, most of the phone companies like LG and SAMSUNG adopted a feature of the phone, a touch screen.. but one of the most common and user friendly phones, NOKIA didn't join this touch generation?.. does anybody know why?.. :)

I am sure you are not loyal nokia fans because you even don't know the laste type released by Nokia: 5800. It's the Nokia's first touch screen cellphone, and the configuration is not bad. Touch screen is trend, Nokia knows it though it is kind of late. And the coming king: N97 released by next year is also a touch screen one.

I have noticed that touch screens are becoming more & more popular everyday... But I still believe most people don't really care or want touch screen phones... I know I don't want one... Most of the people I know personally do not want the touch screen phones... I myself have blackberry pearl 8120 & I know it's not the greatest phone in the world... But like the most, it does everything I need a phone to do for me & I'm really happy with it... I work 2 jobs & I tend to deal with a lot of people & when I make a mall talk with people I meet, weather it's for work purpose or through one of my friends, cell phone is one of the favoite topic that comes up... I'm by no means an expert at cell phones... It's just something I observed personally... I think Nokia is smart in that instead of spending a lot of money coming up with numbers of touch screen phones just for small percentage of people, they come up with very few, may be one at a time, for few that want the touch screen & concerntrate on majority that doesn't want it or couldn't carelss about touch screen...

I dont know, but i think they should consider this seriously, lagging behind like this is not good. i am not one to follow such trends but my husband and my son would rather have the latest gizmos. Maybe explains why they both dont use Nokia phones and i do...
