Everyone of us has a different attitudes and characters. Some are good and some are bad. Even if we it must be change cause we know its not good we can't do it because it's already in US. At time like this( new year approaching), we can only say, "I would have to change or maybe minimize this bad habit of mine this coming new year." Or what we call New year Resolution (again). I said "again", because only a few of us I guess can completely follow what would be their New Year's resolution. How about is there something in yourself that need to be changed this coming new year? What's gonna be your New Year's Resolution come 2009?

All resolutions are made for breaking. I never make any resolution on New years as I can never stick to it. I have resolved not to have a resolution. so i just take things easy and have a good time. I love to listen to the lofty resolutions people make and then I have a good time pulling their leg when they break their resolution within a day or so.

Yes. We better keep it to ourselves so nobody could remind us if we can't fulfill our enumerated new year's resolution...

Yes. and for you sockpuppet. It's so funny about your mom. It's because "it is probably easier said than done" not unless if you have a strong determination to change or stop it..cheers

my mum does that, every year her resolution is to give up smoking, it works until around midday then she will run outside an on the 2nd then she will run down the shop and buy a pack an chain 2 or 3 strait away, you can practically set ya clock by it

Hello mobhomeir! I would say that when i was at school i remember that our teacher always want us to make a new year resulotion, so, that's the reason i did make my new year resolution. Honestly, i don't make any new year resolution at all. It doesn't make since to me to make one and not do it anyway. Just like what you say, not everyone can do it completely. It would be nice to make changes for good and not to wait for the new year but the time you need it. That's how i look at it. happy mylotting.

i made a "new years resolution" on 31st december 1999, never make another new years resolution...so far ive kept to it lol

Yes. We were used to that, ever since elementary and high school years we always did that. I think it is maybe wise if we will just keep it on ourselves and try to change something on our own way if there are something on us that needs to be change..right? happy my lotting too..
