Woman: What do you prefer Silver or Gold jewelries?

I prefer jewellery because they also serve as a kind of investment for me. although I dont sell them but youi never know.. Since you are new here.. start a good number of discussions to earn better.. I usually make around 15 discussions a day.. not at the same time but at regular intervals... Keep your discussions of atleast 5 lines.. I like silver too! Simple and sophisticated.

I prefer silver for ordinary days, its fashionable yet it is not too risky to wear. times are hard, so there are more instances of snatching jewelries or hold-ups. But I still want to invest in gold jewelries, when i say invest, I meant to buy then for the value they have, to wear on special ocassions and so that I may have something of value that i can convert to immediate cash in case of emergencies or when in need to cash.

I have so much more silver jewelry than gold that my husband is convinced that I prefer silver. Not so. I have more silver only because it is cheaper. I love earrings and can usually buy four or more pair of silver earrings for the price of one pair of gold ones. I can even find silver earrings at garage sales for a dollar or less. Another reason for wearing silver earrings is that I tend to lose one of them. It doesn't hurt as bad when I lose a silver earring. If it ever becomes the style to wear non-matching earrings, I'm all set.

Back in school, I was a silver-wearing gal. Now, several years later (and years older!!!), I've been leaning towards the golds. Actually, I've been mixing both lately like wearing silver hoop earrings and a thin gold necklace. Looks good on me too... that's what matters anyway. :D I suppose it's a period thing... years from now I may prefer to predominantly wear silvers again. Well, in case that happens, I still have them old jewelry in storage. :D

I like both gold and silver, but I have way more gold jewelry because when I was younger, I preferred gold. I think as I get older, I'm starting to like silver a little better. I don't only mean sterling silver, but silver in color like white gold or platinum. My engagement and wedding rings are gold, but I think I'd like to remount them into platinum. I will have to find a way to convince my husband to get it done for me. LOL

I only buy gold jeweleries to my wife.Gold looks so good in the form of chains and rings.Silver ornaments luster fades very quickly.

That so funny because I prefer silver to. And I have no clue why. I think it was because when teh gold trend started to get popular. I wanted to be differenta nd wearing silver was being differnt at the time.

I prefer gold jewellery. No matter how beautiful, I have less preference for silver. I think it has a lot to do with mental upbringing coz in India, gold is the preferred metal for jewellery. Indian women love wearing gold and more than jewellery, it is our symbol of money, power and position in society. Silver doesn’t come anywhere close to it.

Well, actually I don't really like jewelries. I do have a necklace given from my friend, which is platinum. I think I'd prefer platinum than gold or silver. I got some gold jewelries for my wedding too, but I just keep them safely, and not going to wear them. The only jewelry I always wear is my wedding ring, which is a gold one. Though I don't like golden jewelries, I think it's more valuable.

I like wearing gold jewelry and won't wear anything that is not real gold. I did used to wear silver jewelry when I was in high school though.

I prefer silver or white gold. My mother is allergic to yellow gold. If she would put a yellow gold ring on her finger then her finger would swell up. She's always worn white gold so I think I am just use to that.

gold jewellery is my first preference. The long lasting lustre appeals me very much. I like silver for anklets only. there are great designs of silver items, but i like the designs but i prefer not to wear. gold is gold only. none can replace it. now a days light weight jewelleries also available. there are great designs in that too. I always visit nearest jewellery showroom once in month and check the latest designs. I am very fond of gold. I can talk more and more about gold. I have diamonds too. but i prefer after the gold. gold gold gold i love gold jewelleries.

I also prefer sliver I don't know why I just like the colour better. The only exception I make is my engagement ring as it is gold, it is the only piece of gold jewelry I will wear.

I prefer gold if possible because it doesn't give me rashes. But I also wear silver if I am wearing casual attire and if I am walking in the streets of Manila. I like both but since you asked which do I prefer ... so my answer is gold. Take care =)

I like both and I wear both. I was told you can't do that you have to wear one or the other as to match you know. I don't care I wear what I like and if makes me feel good to look down and see the silver one and the gold fine by me. Your friend onlydia

I have always liked to wear silver jewelry. I have always thought it stood out better with my skin tone and made it look nicer than gold does. It always seems to be brighter and look good no matter how long you have been wearing it. My mom always stuck with gold though and tried many times to get me to wear it!

I prefer silver jewelries just because I like the colour better.So I also like platium not yellow gold.Perhaps the colour of silver or platium match my skin tone.

Hi I like gold jewelries. I have dual advantage. I look pretty on gold jewelries and also it is an investment. Stock market and real estate crashes, but this yellow metal always goes Northwise! Nirma70
