What are your thoughts about intuition? Have you ever had the experience of feeling that something just wasn't right? Perhaps you have met someone that outwardly seems almost perfect. They may be intelligent, charming and attractive, yet you don't feel comfortable around them. Perhaps you are hundreds of miles away, and suddenly know that someone at home is seriously ill or even that they have passed away. You have no idea how you know, yet you are as certain of it as if you'd received a telephone call or someone had physically come and told you. Lets hear your thoughts.

I have to say that I believe in intuition. I have personally experienced it, but I can't describe the exact feeling. I think that most of my intuition has come in the form of dreams. I have a dream about something, and then, sometime in the future my dream comes true. I have also heard specific words in my dreams and then heard them again on the radio or the tv.
I do not know why intuition happens, but I believe in it.

Hi surveytaker, Thank you for responding. None of us really understand intuition, but most people believe in it. For me it is prove that there is something beyond the five senses, thought I can't explain it. I think it comes from within and we are merely remembering something that we once knew but had forgotten. Blessings.

Yes, I have had strong intuition. But just sometimes.
For example I once felt very sad and I felt that one of my people is seriously sick. Even I had a dream where he was silent and pale white, staring to ceilings and ignoring my questions. 2 days later we received a phone call from the hospital that told to us that our `person from a dream` was in the reanimation and had an operation.
I was so scared afterwards. I never thought I can feel intuitively where or what is happening to a person that appears in my mind. Horrible ability, thou. Prefer not to use it, as it can be damaging to the health and mind in the longer period of time.

Hi lisafiat, Thank you for responding. I think we all have this ability but some are more open to it than others. I too have had it in the way of a warning that someone is ill. Some people say they know when good news is coming or when friends are coming to visit. Now that I could deal with. Blessings.

Hmm... Yup...at the same time, I feel it all depends on your state of mind. If the mind is chaotic, intuition doesn't really work. :) What do you think?
Cheers and happy Mylotting

Hi positiveminded, Thank you for responding and I would agree. A chaotic mind is one of the reasons some people never experience intuition. I think that we already know much more than we think we do. Intuition seems to prove that. Sitting in silent reflection, meditating etc can help us remember. Blessings.

Poseji, yes I was thinking about the same recently also. Many times I had the same and worst was about my mother. I was really worried about the same and I scold to my mind and pray to GOD, it may not become true but eventually I got the sad news. Now I am really afraid about the same. But sometimes it helps me in simple things (day to day affairs) and I am able to avoid mistakes, if I listened to my intuition. I think everybody has the intuition and most of them are not listening properly. Listening to the inner voice is a great thing.

I for one believe in intuition! I guess our body constantly tries to give us messages especially if something unpleasant is about to happen. I guess they call it your instinct or your gut feeling! There are times when you feel that something is just not right and you should follow the advice that your mind, your body or your inner voice gives you! I think, as humans, we are very spiritual and there is definitely something going on that we don't understand! I sometimes sit in silence for a little bit in order to try and tap into this wonderful resource which is free! Andrew

Hi Andrew, Thank you for responding and I enjoyed your comments. There is so much that we don't know and I think intuition proves that there is something beyond the five senses. I agree that we are very spiritual but most people just shut out the inner voice. Sitting in silence or meditating is a great way to contact our inner self. We know much more than we think, Sitting in the silence will help us to remember. Blessings.

Hello Pose dear...when it comes to intuition.yes I have always found it handy to deal with situations and people.I sometimes get this feeling that something is not right, and fortunately this has stood me in good stead all my life.Perhaps its because I am a very careful or very observant person, that I tend to be so intuitive.Even when it comes to dealing with people I am able to get some inner feeling that a person is not right,or he is lying, and in most cases my intuitions turn out to be correct...So I have begun to rely on my intuitions a lot.....

On one energy level, called -- the spiritual -- we become aware of influences and information through intuition. When we lay the groundwork for a spiritual connection to one another and to God, we sharpen these higher senses of receptivity. Intuition is our greatest link to our higher selves (our spiritual selves) and thus to God.

Well, I have never had an intuition in my life. But my mother had them and often they turn to be right. May be people who are more close to GOD get these messages as a warning, that something is going to be bad. Or GOD wants you to be prepared for the hard times to come ahead. Its really hard to explain why it happens? Got No Idea.
Hope to read your reply soon.
Thanks
Bye....

Hi ngty, Thank you for commenting. Intuition comes in times of quietness or to people who have an open mind. Although it often warns of bad news coming, it can also tell of good news or unexpected guests arriving. We know a lot more than we think we do, but sometimes the mind is too cluttered for it to get through. Blessings.

Yes, I believe in it. On numerous occasions, I've been told either do or not to something by some non physical force or to check on someone. If I don't obey this warning, bad things always happen. By now, as I'm 32, I've learned to just do whatever the "voice" tells me. Then I get into less trouble.

Usually if I feel restless something bad happens to the
family. Is very hard to explain ,but I cannot relax all
day long and suddenly the phone rings with bad news. This
is why I hated if I feel tense and restless because it
means that something bad has happened to a loved one. I
guess that you can call this some type of intuition.

I totally believe in intuition! I believe in instincts. There have been several times I have felt "funny" about a perfect person and turned out my feeling were just. Situations too. Like deciding not to go somewhere or do something because I just felt a certain uncomfort about it. It usually keeps me from getting into bad predicaments by following my instincts.

Yeah..this happens quite a lot to me, sometimes I get some vibes from a person when talking to them, which kind of tell me to stay away from them..some people have that kind of magnetic personality which automatically draw you out..also intuition works for something good about to happen..i closely relate weather to good thing going to happen..
