Surgery and Nausea!!!!!!!!!

I had surgery Tuesday and every since I stay nauseated I thought it was the Loritabs that the dr. prescribed, but I got him to switch it to Darvocets which I know in the past have not made me sick. So why am I still nauseated?

Feeling nauseated after surgery is quiet common. It might be just a reaction from the anesthesia, and should wear off within about 24 to 48 hours. If you are still feeling sick to your stomach after a day or so, I would contact your doctor and let him know.
Also, are you making sure to eat something with the medication? Sometimes they are hard on your stomach. Try this...eat a bite of food, take the pill, and eat another bite of food. That way it isn't so hard on your system.
