Hatton is NO match for Pacquiao

Who knows? We should not judge first. That's what happened to the fight of Dela Hoya and Pacquiao. Many expected that it would be Dela Hoya will win the fight because of the advantage of the height,arm and the skill he had. But Manny won the bout. So, we should not judge and beside, Hatton is a very good boxer. It would be a great fight if the bout will happen.

I think Hatton will not be cherry picking here. He has been a champion for a very long time now and he will train and try to improve himself, months leading up to the fight. I still consider this fight a mystery since Pacman has not fought a pressuring fighter like Hatton. But still the style of the British could be more beneficial to Pacquiao in the end since it will be action packed.

i am a pacquiao fan, but i will not dismiss the ability and boxing skills of hatton in his possible match with pacquaio. his style may be awkward, but what counts is the end-result. hatton has knocked out many of his opponents. and it is possible that pacquaio can be in the list if pacquiao thinks and believes the way you do. hatton is a natural street brawler, and it is difficult to fight a brawler because he moves forward all the time. with all his great skills, pacquaio is weak and vulnerable when he moves backward. hatton-pacquaio will be a very interesting match.

I couldn't agree more. Ricky Hatton is an overrated boxer. He hasn't beaten any well known fighters. Kostya Tszyu was over the hill when he fought him. Ricky Hatton leaves his chin very open every time he throws a punch. I agree with you that Manny Pacquiao will crush Ricky Hatton. Even better than Floyd junior crushed him. This will be his first lost at 140lbs.

the speed will be the difference in this fight, but pacquiao must no be overconfident, hatton is a tough opponent, he must train hard.

hatton is pretty tough but i dont think he has the speed to match pacquaio. manny has proven himself time and time again that he's faster than his opponent and that when he lands his punches, he lands them in furies. pacquiao can take a lot of punches. but hatton is someone he can't underestimate. if anything, hatton is more dangerous than oscar

I too think that many things can happen especially in boxing. I have not the opportunity to watch any of Ricky Hatton's fights but from what I heard he has improved a lot since he hired Floyd Mayweather as his trainer. But I also saw interviews of team Pacquiao especially Coach Freddie Roach who is very confident that Manny Pacquiao would knock Ricky out in three rounds. It is just one week to go and we will see the result. It gets a lot exciting.

Hatton is a tough guy, he is a good boxing fighter but I will still go for Manny Pacquiao because he is my fellow countrymen and my kababayan here in Mindanao. I will support Manny all the way, hope he is at his best on May 2.

it all depends on whether hatton can keep up with pacquiao's speed..if he fights smart and doesn't let manny pull away from him,then he can keep the fights close..pacquiao is an outboxer while hatton is a brawler..the key for hatton is to keep pacquiao out of his comfort zone,always keep pacquiao in front of him and look for an opportunity..hatton should watch tapes of pacquiao-marquez fights and learn how to counterpunch and execute properly..
